A real mustard seed inset in Sterling Silver and comes on a 925 sterling silver cable chain. The mustard seed is grown and hand picked from a small field in Mexico and is preserved in black resin to maintain it's color. A mustard seed is a common symbol of Christian faith based on the following scripture:
"Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith like a mustard seed, you can move mountains." - Matthew 17:20
